Moin,

ich wollte grad mal testen wie gut das Programm ist, dabei bin ich über einen Fehler gestolpert.

Ãœblicherweise kopiere ich den i386-Ordner eines OS in den Laufwerks-Root der OS-Installation. Diesen habe ich dem WUCDC unter die Nase gehalten, dass er mir daraus die neue CD erstellt. Das Programm hat nix gemeckert, auch das ISO wurde normal erstellt. Danach hab ich es gebrannt und davon gebootet, allerdings forderte mich das Setup dazu auf, die XP-CD SP2 ins Laufwerk A: zu legen. Wenn ich richtig verstanden hab, hast du den i386-Ordner von der CD in z.B. C.\Windows kopiert und diesen dann als Grundlage für CD benutzt?Shocked

Warum so kompliziert ? Was sollte das bringen? Gabs ein Grund nicht auf traditionelle Weise CD zu erstellen?

Moin,

nein, ich kopiere grundsätzlich den i386-Ordner nach einer OS-Installation nach C (nicht in Windows-Ordner) (wenn auf C installiert). Das hat einfach den Vorteil, wenn man mal reparieren muss, muss man nicht die CD suchen, werden Dateien verändert, werden diese schnell wieder zurückgesetzt (wenn man es möchte). Voraussetzung: entsprechender Reg-Key geändert.

Das bin ich einfach von Arbeit so gewohnt, bei Firmenrechnern ist das echt sinnvoll, da selten eine CD zur Hand ist. Wink

Für mich ist also diese Variante traditionell. Smile

Es liegt an fehlenden Dateien, im selben Ordner wohin du i386 kopiert hast!

In diesem Posting bei WinFuture geht es um Umwandlung aus Recovery-CD zu Normal CD. Dort ist auch deine Fehlermeldung dabei. Also kopiere die fehlende Dateien von deiner CD einfach mit !

ok, dann kenne ich jetzt den Unterschied zum c't Slipstreamer, daher entstand nämlich dieser Test mit dem i386-Verzeichnis. Denn dieser liefert den Bootcode gleich komplett mit, und man kann eine Recovery-CD zu einer Voll-Installations-CD machen.
