so for WinRAR and Adobe /S should work

"%CDROM%\yellowho\軟件\win updates\Messenger.exe"

should be

"%CDROM%\Software\MSN Messenger 8\Messenger.exe"

I downloaded MSNLive, extracted it and used this for my install:
MSNLive.Step.1=""%CDROM%\Software\MSNLive\MsnMsgs.msi" /QB"

For WinRAR and Acrobat Reader I always used /s and had no problem. Never tried /Q.

You can always snoop around http://www.ryanvm.net and might be able to find some switchless installers.
